DIARY OF AN URBAN MILKMAID

PROFILE GUESTBOOK OLD OLDER OLDEST
There is a ravine between my apartment building and the Little League field next door. It's got weeds, wildflowers, water - God only knows whatall else. There are many, many butterflies out there today, and two of them are doing that love-makin' dance in the air. For a while, it looked like the fella was going to get shut down - she wasn't all that interested. And then all of a sudden, the tables turned and she was chasing HIM all over the ravine! Little Flirt!!!!

A couple of days ago, a Hawk flew right above our balcony, and was trying (and maybe succeeded, I couldn't tell) in taking away one of the baby Mockingbirds. That Hawk made a noise I have never heard before - a scream! I thought it was one of the Little Leager's being run over or something! Anyway, the Hawk flew away with three of the little Mockingbirds flanking him like fighter-planes.

Nature is really everywhere we look.
