DIARY OF AN URBAN MILKMAID

PROFILE GUESTBOOK OLD OLDER OLDEST
Tonight we get to go out for a little "class and culture". Very little, probably.

The kidlet and I forgot she needed to attend an instrumental musical performance and write a report. It's due Friday. Aaargh! I picked up the phone and called all the local theaters and whatnots looking for somebody - anybody performing with an instrument. A kazoo would be cool right about now. Nope. Nada. Nuttin....

Then, I got the brilliant idea to take her to one of the nice eateries around town, where there are folks banging on pianos and guitars and such. We're desperate women. There's a real eclectic Chinese restaurant near our home and they've recently become a hot spot, because they always have some kind of music going on. Tonight we struck gold! Big Band music!!! Looks like it's going to be Tommy Dorsey and General Tso's Chicken.

I wonder if her teacher will accept our valet parking receipt as proof?????
