DIARY OF AN URBAN MILKMAID

PROFILE GUESTBOOK OLD OLDER OLDEST
Still thinking about my kidlet not relishing 48 glorious hours with me - the most exciting and fascinating mom on the planet...

I have to accept that she's getting older. When I was her age, I was gone most of the time - away from my parents, hanging out with girlfriends and living my life.

Unfortunately, my kidlet has socialization problems, and doesn't have girlfriends on weekends. (Though she is forming a little thing with a very nice girl from school.) Unfortunately, my kidlet doesn't have the girl's phone number, or they'd be going to the movies or the mall tomorrow. I'd see to it!

At any rate, even though it hurts my heart to have my child grow up - and away from me, I know it is the way it was meant to be. All little birdies leave the nest. Mine too, I suppose.
