DIARY OF AN URBAN MILKMAID

PROFILE GUESTBOOK OLD OLDER OLDEST
Reggie is such a good dog! He's always in a good mood. He loves my kid. He enjoys our company. He's always happy to go on a walk. He wants to get to know the kitties (feeling is NOT mutual...) He is content in his crate without crying or barking. He knows how to sit, slap five and lie down. He's housebroken and sleeps through the night next to the kidlet's bed.

Yesterday, I watched from the balcony while he and the kidlet went on a walk. As they passed the Little League field, he was prancing through the grass, sun sining on his coat - head and tail up, just barking away at the crows. He looked really happy. Afterwards, they both took an hour and a half nap.

Oh. And he had his first bath today. Of course, he still stinks like a dog, but he looks purty!

Tomorrow will be his first day, left alone for a few hours. I'm very nervous that he'll be upset and cry or bark, but he did spend a lot of time in one of those cage thingies at the vet - where he was boarded before we got him, and before that, he was at the pound. So maybe he'll just nap, or chew on one of his toys.

He's really mellow, and seems pleased to be anywhere, so it could work out well.
