The radiologist says it's a "choroidal fissure cyst" - which is not causing her any symptoms - not giving her the head pains, and is simply an incidental finding. I guess some people have these cysts and some don't. Our doctor says it's nothing to worry about.

However, they want to do an MRI, just to make sure.

Nothing ever goes smooth...

At any rate, except for finding something that's most likely nothing - there's not a thing wrong with the kid that a pair of good-fitting spectacles won't cure.

Weird thing though. The location of the cyst is in the limbic system of her brain. The same limbic system that mis-fires, causing her to have OCD... I wonder if there's ever been a study of OCD patients, that looks for choroidal fissure cysts? Maybe they've all got 'em!
