| The mom saga continues. I have an appointment to speak with her discharge planner tomorrow afternoon. We would like to place her back at her apartment, and have home health people come over every day. However, I'm not sure she's physically able to even care for herself when they aren't around. It's 7 days from surgery and she can't really sit up by herself yet. Yesterday, she thought she was at home and decided she wanted to put something in the microwave for dinner. She was surprised and a little embarrassed when whe told her she was at the hospital... She told her doctor that he could discharge her at any time, because she had "two darling granddaughters" who would take care of her every need. Where does she get this stuff?
