We got Financial Aid!!!! My kid's college tuition is paid for for next semester PLUS this semester is being refunded to me!!!

WAAAAAAAA-HOOOOOOO!!!!

This means we can return the $29 Charlie Brown artificial tree we purchased last week and get a normal sized tree - plus decorations! And we can eat turkey on Thanksgiving! And life is gooooooood!

I'm now an official member of the Board at our local LGBT center. Don't even ask me what I'm doing being on the board. I'm just having fun and trying to be helpful. So far, I've either signed up for, or been delegated to a bazillion tasks. Well, it keeps me off the street any way.

Off to shampoo the carpets.
