Huh. Whaddya know, I feel better. Maybe the guilt/stress of pretty much forcing my mother into a retirement home, was making me feel overwhelmed. Because now that she's decided to stay on her own - come what may - I feel a bit relieved. Sure, she could croak over, but it's her decision to croak over in her own place, rather than some - actually very nice and pretty - center for old folks on their last legs. You've gotta respect that. And, if she takes the apartment that was offered to her, she'll be just down the street from kidlet and I. So we can, you know - pop over.

Only 2 more Buffy's. That's hard to get my head around. We've been together for 7 years now. All through high school, and the Angel saga... Her failed college career, Riley the hot but boring boytoy. And Spike. Always Spike. That love affair has been going on, in one way or another, since nearly the beginning... And tonight, Spike got the thing he's been wanting all that time. It was wickedly romantic.

Time to get the coffee ready for tomorrow morning, make up my pile of rags, and watch "House Hunters" on HGTV, while I fall asleep.
